Bob Inglis' Liberal Positions
Here is a
little of Bob's record.
Since 2005, in
the 109th and 110th Congress Bob has
represented us by initiating(sponsoring) 39
pieces of legislation. 39 Bills in 4 years.
33 of the
39 bills dealt with lowering tariffs
for Tire making machines and materials for
Tires.
85% of Bob's effort has been for Tariffs on
Tires.
2 bills
were to mandate that the Federal
Government only purchase Energy Saver light
bulbs when spending their budget money.
1 bill
was to set up a 15 Million Dollar contest
for Hydrogen Power
and the
Most Disturbing bill was an Amendment (527)
to HR 3132 removing the required jail
sentencing for Sex Offenders who fail to
report or who give false information.
Why would
Bob Inglis want to make it easier for Sex
Offenders to hide ? Is that the
representation we expect ?
Bob says it
is a team sport (Congress that is) and no
one person can come in and get everything
done, BUT Bob has had 39 chances to write
legislation that would promote the values
and represent the people of his district.
39 times at
bat, and our representative gave us What ?
Bob Inglis
Must be Replaced !!
Bob voted for the bailout and for the
government to buy into the banks, own our
mortgages, insurance policies, 401K
retirement plans and yet Bob says this is
not Socialism.
While SC has the Fifth highest unemployment
rate in the nation, Bob still wants to give
an accelerated pathway for Amnesty to
Illegal aliens. over 17,000 construction
workers have lost their jobs in SC and many
have had to contend with illegals getting
paid under the table taking their jobs.
Bob appears to be more comfortable
representing the citizens of Mexico than the
citizens of SC.
There are a couple hundred employees of US
Food Service targeted to lose their jobs in
November, 733 or more BMW workers in
December. Thousands have been displaced at
Kemet and Bob still wants to support
Trade that is not Fair and does not protect
American workers first.
Bob doesn't mind giving 1 Trillion dollars
to the government so they can buy our
private businesses but he refused to
support an extension of unemployment
benefits to workers for another 7 weeks.
Workers who have paid their taxes cannot
get help at the unemployment line but Wall
Street can get bailed out.
Does that sound like representation you
want ?
Bob supports Cap and Trade policies
which will be taxing on business.
He wants the government to apply a Means
Test for your Social Security and base
your retirement not on what you paid but on
your current assets; so those who have been
able to save and have a little comfort will
lose their Social Security so it can be
given to someone else.
Is this the representation you expect ?
Bob voted against drilling off-shore
within 50 miles. Now China is reported
to be negotiating with Cuba to drill off our
coast line.
Who is Bob representing ?
I am concerned for our nation and the
direction she is heading. We are losing our
freedoms and allowing the Federal government
to become too big and social programs too
abundant. We need a revival in true
conservative thought and practice.
Bob is a member of a group of Republicans
who have lost their way when it comes to
conservative representation.
